What These Resumes Do Right
Every resume above follows the same underlying principles. Here's a breakdown of the specific techniques that make them strong:
Strong action verbs that own the outcome
"Led," "Built," "Redesigned," "Architected," "Drove" — every bullet opens with a verb that makes the candidate the subject, not a passive participant.

"Led strategy and 0→1 launch of Google Pay Business" vs. "Was responsible for the Google Pay Business launch"
Metrics that make impact concrete
Every resume includes specific numbers: revenue figures, percentages, team sizes, time savings, user counts. These are what differentiate candidates at the same experience level.
Example
"reached 2.4M merchant accounts in 14 months and $840M in annualized GMV" — not "helped grow the product significantly"
Keyword alignment with the target role
Emily's resume mentions "API product management," "developer experience," "payments infrastructure" — exactly the language Stripe uses in Staff PM job descriptions. Marcus uses "microservices," "distributed systems," and AWS service names that show up in platform engineer JDs.
Example

Context-appropriate length
